Czech insect collectors convicted in India

Two Czech national have been found guilty of violating India's Wildlife Protection and Biodiversity Act by collecting rare butterflies and other insects reports the Times of India

DARJEELING: Czech nationals Emil Kucera and Petr Svacha, were found guilty of violating the Wildlife Protection and Biodiversity Act on Monday. The duo was arrested on charges of collecting rare species of butterflies and insects from the Singalila National Park in Darjeeling.
